Swifty Clearances may be a relatively young company — established only two and a half years ago — but the expertise behind it is not.

Our director, Harry Georgiou, has been carrying out property clearances, probate work, hoarding support, and general domestic and commercial clearances for many years. Long before Swifty Clearances existed as a brand, Harry was already known for his hands-on approach, his honesty, and his ability to handle complex, sensitive situations with patience and respect.

Swifty Clearances was created to bring all that personal experience under one professional banner — with proper licensing, insurance, environmental responsibility, and a level of service that reflects the standards Harry has always worked to.

Why the Previous Company Was Dissolved

We believe in transparency, so here is the straightforward explanation.

The original Swifty Clearances Ltd was dissolved because our former accountant failed to submit a required compliance statement. This was a task he had handled for many years on our behalf, and he would have received multiple reminders from HMRC and Companies House — reminders he did not pass on.

However, we fully accept that company compliance is ultimately the director’s legal responsibility, and we take full ownership of that fact.
To ensure this situation can never occur again, all filings, submissions and compliance duties are now handled directly in-house with strict oversight.

We are currently working to resolve the administrative matter surrounding the previous entity. In the meantime, we are operating under a newly formed and fully compliant company.
