The original Swifty Clearances Ltd was dissolved because our former accountant failed to submit a required compliance statement. This was a task he had handled for many years on our behalf, and he would have received multiple reminders from HMRC and Companies House — reminders he did not pass on.

However, we fully accept that company compliance is ultimately the director's legal responsibility, and we take full ownership of that fact. To ensure this situation can never occur again, all filings, submissions and compliance duties are now handled directly in-house with strict oversight.
