Swifty Clearances has been clearing houses, probate properties and heavily cluttered properties across Hertfordshire and North London for more than 25 years, working with families, executors, solicitors and estate agents.
What we do
We clear properties — probate estates, homes after a bereavement, general house clearances, heavily cluttered properties, and garages, lofts and sheds on their own. Some of that work is straightforward. Some of it involves sorting through a lifetime of belongings on behalf of a family who'd rather not have to do it themselves. We treat both the same way: properly, and without cutting corners.
Our approach
A lot of our work involves sensitive situations — a death in the family, an estate going through probate, a property that's become difficult to live in. We don't rush people through those, and we don't make anyone feel judged about the state a property is in. Before anything is booked in, we give a clear quotation, so there are no surprises about cost once the work starts.
Who we work with
Most of our instructions come directly from executors, families and homeowners, but we also work regularly with solicitors handling probate estates and with letting and estate agents preparing a property for its next stage.
