These jobs vary enormously — from a house with one or two very full rooms to a property where access is genuinely difficult throughout. We don't need to know how or why it got that way. We're there to clear it properly, safely, and without making anyone feel judged about it.
We'll always look at what's involved before quoting, because these properties rarely fit a standard price. Photos can help us give a more accurate estimate before we visit, if that's easier for you.
Staged clearance where it helps
Some properties are cleared in one visit. Others work better done in stages — particularly where someone is still living there and needs the process to move at a manageable pace, or where a family member is making decisions on someone else's behalf and needs time between visits. We'll talk through what makes sense for your situation rather than assuming one approach fits everyone.
Access and safety
Blocked doorways, unsafe flooring, and rooms that simply can't be reached yet are common in heavily cluttered properties. We work through these methodically and safely, clearing a path before tackling the rest, rather than rushing in. If a property needs anything beyond a standard clearance — structural repairs, pest control, deep cleaning — we'll tell you plainly so you can arrange it separately.
Keeping important things safe
Amongst heavy clutter it's easy to worry that something important — paperwork, a passport, cash, jewellery — might get cleared by mistake. Tell us in advance about anything specific to look out for, and we work carefully rather than clearing indiscriminately, so anything of that kind can be set aside rather than lost in the process.
